"Due to the advice I heard at the “Ask Me About My Major” panel, I gained the confidence and information to be proactive about my major... The panel left me feeling determined, and later that week, I had a meeting with a career counselor from Career Services. We discussed my skills, likes/dislikes, tentative major, etc. It was a really productive discussion, and by the end, I had decided on a major… Now, before the start of the next semester, I am contemplating which classes would be best for my major and potential future job"

“The Halloween Hangout: Myth Behind the Major event impacted my perspective on my major and potential career. I am currently majoring in psychology, and throughout this semester, I’ve come to learn more about my passion for learning about psychology. Although this is true, I’ve struggled a bit when it comes to trying to discover potential career options that I think would best suit me and my strengths. This event helped me realize how, just because I choose a certain major, I don’t have to stick to the stereotypical career options for that major… I can find what works best for me… [This event and this community] have allowed me to see way more about psychology (and other majors) that I ever have before, which makes me feel way more confident”

"The LLC… allows us to explore our major and learn about it. I really am grateful for the LLC; it allowed me to be confident in my major and excited to continue in it. Continuing on, I will look for internships and jobs that will allow me to put myself in the shoes of my career and I am thrilled."
