Maintenance Requests

Please submit a maintenance request if you have a maintenance concern in your assigned room or apartment. This process must be completed in order to have your concern addressed in a timely manner.

Non-Emergency Maintenance Request


Follow the steps below on how to submit a maintenance request online:

STEP 1: Login

Enter your Texas State netID and password and click Login.

STEP 2: Enter Your Location

Click on the location drop-down menu and select the location where the maintenance needs to occur.

Type in the Area/Room number of where the maintenance needs to occur.

STEP 3: Select Your Work Category

Select the type of maintenance that needs to be done using the icons. (Only one icon can be selected per request.)

STEP 4: Describe Your Work Requested

Type in your description of the problem, including some specific details related to the problem. For example, which light is out, where is the leak in the room, the desk on the right side of the room, etc.

STEP 5: Submit Your Request

Your maintenance request will now be submitted and you will be directed to the My Requests page.

Review Your Request

Use the My Requests page to view up-to-date information including maintenance status, job number, and notes.

Search for a maintenance request on the My Requests page by typing in a keyword in the search boxes and hit enter. This will pull up any of your requests with that word in it. (Ex: typing the word keys would pull up any request dealing with keys.)

Emergency Maintenance Request


Emergency maintenance is performed to resolve an issue that constitutes an immediate threat to self, immediate threat to the building, or is a major inconvenience. Examples of emergencies are overflowing toilet, air conditioner/heater not working, and no power in room/unit/area. To report emergency maintenance, follow the procedures below:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
    Call Housing Facilities Services at 512.245.4680.

  • Monday–Friday, 5:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
    Contact the front desk of your residential facility and they will assist you in reporting your emergency.

  • Saturday or Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
    Contact the front desk of your residential facility and they will assist you in reporting your emergency.

  • Any day of the week, 10:00 p.m.–10:00 a.m.
    Call the Night Desk at 512.245.3337 and they will assist you in reporting your emergency.

Non-Emergency Maintenance Request - NON-TXST STUDENTS (Vistas & Sanctuary Lofts) 


Follow the steps below on how to submit a maintenance request online:

STEP 1: Navigate to the Maintenance Request Form 

The Maintenance Request form will not require you to login using a TXST ID and password.

STEP 2: Enter Your Location

Select the apartment building where the maintenance needs to occur.

Type in the Area/Room number of where the maintenance needs to occur.

STEP 3: Select Your Work Category

Select the type of maintenance that needs to be done using the icons. (Only one icon can be selected per request.)

STEP 4: Describe Your Work Requested

Type in your description of the problem, including some specific details related to the problem. For example, which light is out, where is the leak in the room, the desk on the right side of the room, etc.

STEP 5: Submit Your Request

Your maintenance request will now be submitted and you will recieve a confirmation email with your request. 

 

Parents

Please have your student login with their TXST credentials to the link provided above. They will be able to create and submit a maintenance request there.
