22 New Living-Learning Community Scholarships Available for 2020-2021
The Department of Housing and Residential Life is very pleased to announce a new scholarship program for incoming students who are accepted to one of our sixteen Living-Learning Communities for 2020-2021!
Both of the following opportunities will be available for applications beginning June 30, 2020.
General Living-Learning Community Scholarship
21 scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each ($500 each semester) will be awarded to 21 freshman students who are residing in a Living-Learning Community for the academic year (see the list of LLCs and their locations here). Applicants must be first-year freshmen who have a demonstrated financial need and who graduated in the top 25% of their high school class.
SpawGlass STEM Living-Learning Community Scholarship
1 additional scholarship of $1,000 ($500 each semester) is also available to any freshman student who is majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math and who will be living in the STEM LLC in Gaillardia Hall. (Students in the STEM LLC may also apply for the General LLC scholarship.) Applicants must be first-year freshmen who have a demonstrated financial need and who graduated in the top 25% of their high school class.
Applications for both scholarships are due no later than July 19, 2020 at midnight.
Review of applications will begin July 20, 2020
