    Off-Campus Living Program Coordinator


    As the Program Coordinator for Off-Campus Living, Margaret oversees the coordination of events and activities for the Off-Campus Living office. In addition, Margaret collaboratively works with the City of San Marcos in the Achieving Community Together program and the ACT Ally program.

    Off-Campus Living Student Development Specialist II


    As the Student Development Specialist II for Off-Campus Living, Weston oversees the development and cultivation of brand awareness for the Off-Campus Living office. Weston also aids in the operation of events and activities in addition to conducting appointments, meetings, and large-scale presentations for students and parents. 

  • The Off-Campus Living staff can meet individually with parents/students to discuss off-campus options and any other information that might be useful in regard to living off-campus. All you need to do is schedule an appointment via email at and a Full-Time Staff Member or an Off-Campus Living Student Liaison will get back to you as soon as possible. We take appointments on Monday-Friday from 9:00 A.M - 4:00 PM so please request an appointment within that time frame.

    Other Housing Resources for students

  • Texas State University and the City of San Marcos has a contract with the Austin Tenants Council to assist with ACT. Austin Tenants Council will assist students and residents in San Marcos. On their website they share information about what they do, free counseling services, free legal advice clinics, and forms & other resources.

  • Texas State University offers many options for eating on campus. Commuters are able to purchase meal plans that can be used across campus.
