HOUSING RESERVATIONS AND CONTRACTS
An important part of the acceptance process is to secure on-campus housing. It is crucial to review our university housing policy to determine if you are required to live on campus.
Follow the steps below to reserve your on-campus room.
- Apply to the university and receive your acceptance letter.
- Receive a housing guide and contract.
- Complete the contract. Send the contract with a $300 pre-payment and proof of the meningitis vaccination to the Department of Housing and Residential Life.
- After five business days, visit the Bobcat Preferences system to submit hall and roommate choices in order of preference. Be advised that we will begin with your first choice and move down the list until we find a vacant space in a hall on your list. We will begin making assignments in May and continue once a month until the fall semster begins. (New students for the spring semester will recieve their asignments in early December.)
HOUSING ASSIGNMENTS
Fall Semester - Hall and roommate assignments will be sent by email beginning mid-May. Students will receive their room assignment at check in. Contracts begin arriving in the late fall with most of the 3000 new student contracts arriving prior to April 1st.
Spring Semester - Hall assignments will be emailed in December. Students will receive their room assignment at check in.
