History of Jackson

Jackson Hall is named for Ernest Bryan Jackson, who served as the librarian for Southwest Texas State College. Jackson Hall, an all men’s hall at the time, received a portrait of Ernest Bryan Jackson after his passing in 1965 and this portrait currently hangs in Jackson Hall.
