| The Business Learning Community is open to students majoring in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Management and Marketing. Participants are co-enrolled in core classes and benefit from programs and events based on their areas of interest. Students in the Business Learning Community reside in Tower hall and are led by an upperclassman learning community resident assistant (LCRA). The LCRA is a student staff member who serves as an advisor, counselor, friend, resource and facilator for the group. He or she is also responsible for coordinating educational activities for the group. Past events include tours of the McCoy Corporate Headquarters, etiquette dinners, team-building retreats, camping trips, mock job fairs, service projects, portfolio design and job shadowing. Entry into the Business learning community is competitve- interested students will be asked to participate in a short phone interview.
