Geography Learning Community

The Department of Geography welcomes students into the Geography Learning Community. All Geography students, regardless of classification (freshman, sophomore, etc) are welcome. Geography  majors include General Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Resource and Environmental Studies, Physical Geography, Water Studies and Geographic Information Science (GIS).

Events
Past events include camping trips, nature walks, faculty sponsored activities, study groups and career development exploration. Students will demonstrate their interest in the discipline of Geography by actively participating in at least one of our six student organizations.

Co-enrolled Courses
Fall: University Seminar (US1100), taught by Geography faculty member Mark Carter.

Location
The Geography Learning Community will be housed in Tower Hall for 2009-2010.
