Texas State University-San Marcos offers a variety of living options for students who meet the university housing requirement. These complexes are designated to cater to the special needs and interests of our graduate and adult undergraduate populations.

With complexes to choose from, Texas State offers accommodations to fit every style and budget. On-campus apartments offers the proximity and convenience of a residence hall while providing the privacy found in off-campus apartments. General Apartment Policies

As with any community living environment certain policies are established to ensure the health and safety of all the residents and the apartment complexes. A few polices are:

• No pets are allowed with the exception of fish in small aquariums
• No water furniture
• No alcohol containers over 2.5 gallons
• No firearms, explosive devices or weapons
• 24 hour visitation is allowed; however, residents are responsible for the actions of their guests
• Unless married, apartment occupants must be of the same sex

Guests/Visitors: 
Apartment residents are allowed to have visitors of the same/opposite sex, with the permission of the roommate, for up to three consecutive days, but no more than 6 days in any month.  Residents are responsible for their guests and their guests actions.
