During the summer, the Department of Housing and Residential Life welcomes over 10,000 guests to campus through sponsored conferences, athletic camps, workshops, etc. If you are going to be a guest on campus or are interested in bringing a group to campus, we would like to provide you with accommodations.

Residence Halls
The halls utilized during the summer conference season depend on current campus renovations. We have a variety of halls to choose from and strive to maintain this variety throughout the summer. With traditional, suite and super suite halls available, we have something for everyone. Please visit our halls online to learn more about each facility. If you plan to bring a group to campus and utilize the residence halls, please review our conference leader guide for housing information and guest policies.

Rates (rates are per person and based on summer 2009 rates)
Traditional Halls: $17.00/double occupancy; $25.50/single occupancy
Suite Halls: $21.00-$23.50/double occupancy; $31.50-$35.00/single occupancy
Super Suite Halls: $28.00/double occupancy; $35.00/single occupancy

Group Reservations
If you are coming to campus from outside the university and/or require additional facilities such as meeting space, please visit the Office of Continuing Education at http://www.txstate.edu/continuinged/summercamps_kids.htm. If you are an on-campus sponsor and only require overnight accomodations, please submit a reservation form to the Department of Housing and Residential Life.

Individual Reservations (including Orientation Parents)
We are happy to offer individual guest accommodations in San Jacinto Hall. A super-suite style hall located at the center of campus. Guests must have a campus affiliation. We are also happy to offer parent housing in San Jacinto Hall during New Student Orientation. Reserve your space now!
