Students required by the University Housing Policy to live on campus must submit a contract for housing. In addition, students who submit a housing contract are legally bound to that contract for the entire academic year. Exceptions to these policies are rare but will be considered for extenuating circumstances. Choose from the links below for more information on submitting an exemption or cancellation request.
Completed exemption requests need to be submitted at least three (3) weeks before orientation for processing. Students who fail to submit a completed exemption within three weeks of their scheduled orientation may have a delay in registering for classes.
Exemption from the University Housing Policy - Student is required to live on campus but has not yet submitted a housing contract and would like to be exempt from the housing policy.

Cancellation During Occupancy - Student has submitted a contract and is currently living on campus for the term of the submitted contract. Student would like to be released from the contract and allowed to move off campus.
