Academic Year 2014-2015

  • Contract date establishes priority for assignment.

Temporary Spaces For Late Submitted Housing Contracts:

To ensure we are able to provide housing to all new incoming students, we have created temporary living arrangements to accommodate more Bobcats.  Your initial assignment may be in a converted student lounge, resident assistant roommate space or unused apartment within the residential facilities.

All temporary spaces will have a regular twin sized bed, dresser/drawer and study surface.  Reassignments to regular spaces will be processed as those spaces become available either before or after classes have started. Be mindful while packing as you will move again, if at first assigned to a temporary space!

Students who submit the last of the 2014 – 2015 housing contracts will be assigned to Hornsby (Male) and Burleson (Female).  Please note that the aforementioned halls do not have air conditioning in the individual student rooms, but the main lounge is air conditioned.

  • We are no longer accepting contracts from returning students or transfer students. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate those studens who have already been placed on a waiting list.
  • Please refer to our ACT Ally participants for off-campus housing.

  • Log into Student Self Service (not compatible with Google Chrome).
  • Select "Student" then "Housing" then "Housing and Residential Life" then "Apply Online"
  • Agree to the contract terms and submit your $300 prepayment. You will not be asked to enter hall preferences or roommate information.

Campus Colony and Comanche Hill Apartments will not be open for Fall 2014/Spring 2015.

3.) ROOMMATE MATCHING (if you have a preferred roommate)

  • Log into Student Self Service (not compatible with Google Chrome).
  • Select "Student" then "Housing" then "Housing and Residential Life" then "MyHousing".
  • Click on the roommate tab and follow the instructions to either send or accept a roommate request.
  • Roommate matching allows students who know each other, and want to be roommates, the opportunity to pair up.
  • If you do not know someone you would like to be roommates with, you will skip this step and select your room.
  • Roommate matching does not allow students to complete a questionnaire to find a compatible roommate.
  • Students who submitted a contract before May 15 will NOT be able to pair up with a student who submitted the contract after May 15.

  • Log into Student Self Service (not compatible with Google Chrome).
Your specific selection time with appear on your MyHousing screen.
  • Select "Student" then "Housing" then "Housing and Residential Life" then "MyHousing".
  • Choose "Room Selection" on your MyHousing screen.
  • If you have a matched roommate(s), only one of you will need to log in to claim a space.
  • Times are assigned according to the contract received date--first come, first served.

* You will be automatically assigned to a hall if you fail to pick a space.

* Students in Residential College will participate in online selection per the instructions below. All other learning community students will be automatically assigned.
